The eugenics movement of the 1920s and 1930s led to 30 stateswhen laws allowing forced neuterization by the 1940s.
Brad Pitt (describing his! realization that he was smitten byGwyneth Paltrow) . . .I knew immediately . . . .I'll tell youthat much . . . I got within 10 feet of her . . . .I got goofy . . . .I couldn't talk . . .[they broke up because she disapproved of constant pot use- drug compatibility is a major issue]

This simple little ditty was written to describe Sean Penn and Madonna and their break-up. The "wag" who wrote hisexplanation said: " every relationship has to have some gardening, so healthy and positive growth can takeplace . . . Someone in a relationship has to be a gardener . . . .Sean and Madonna are both flowers, andneither of that pair wanted to be the gardener. Maybe beautiful women are really like flowers, and we men who wish to cherish them at close range shouldtry to learn to be very good gardners and forget trying to be flowers ourselves.
Barry Smith at Shelbyville horse show.

There was a Hors! e Show at the Shelbyville Fairgrounds in 1992, and Barry Smith had se t up a real estate tent. He hoped tointerest some horsefolk in a farm or two in the bluegrass nearby.

Robert Hedges approached him and while laughing reminded Smiththat he (Smith) had made $27,000. for one short Saturdayafternoon on the Hedges Farm. Smith became hostile andthreatening. However, Shelbyville is Smith's town, his businesssite, and all the near-by witnesses were his employees, so asmart person not wanting to be arrested would retreat from his (Smith's)belligerence.

The real problem is that the potential to find a serious buyerfor a former horse farm (the Hedges Farm) was never explored, nordid an auction reach the actual market value which a serioushorse farmer might pay when time to arrange financing is not animmediate pressure. Any potential buyer who would "bid" more but either has to arrange financing for such a major purchase, or doesn't wish to arrange the purchase only to be refused by a single $1. higher bid after the closing of open ! bidding will not show up. Thus fewer bidders result and lower prices prevail.

I wonder what customer's Smith has who rate a fair market price,if he is to earn a large commission.? Is he due such a largecommission simply because he once passed a realty test? Doesn'tsuch a large amount have to be earned by real work ? Recently the Spencer County Planning and Zoning Commn' had a unique opportunity to again apply the "Barry "I just drove by" Smith expert in indivisibility principle. The Foreman 700 acres is listed by Ben Green, and optioned for $50,000 per year over five years for full residential development. The price is $5500. per acre, which makes it a $3.850,000.00 project. So, Hedges acres are auctioned for as little as $200. per and now the Foremans want $5500.00 for those same or even lesser acres. Now read my web site carefully. New KRS definining "fair market value".

The following is a story about Bill Gates ( ! Time Jan 13, 1997)but the article speaks volumes to many intelligent people, andseems appropriate for a Mensa site.

The truly revolutionary is inspired by a great feeling of love-Che Guevara

Rather than it (Revolution) should fail, I would have seen halfthe wor! ld desolated, were there but an Adam and Eve left in everycountry . . . but left free. . . . (unidentified quote??)

Conscientiousness is a highly desirable employment traitbut conscientiousness correlates to failed reemployment. After five months, slackers will find jobs, but will wind upbeing less happy, while the conscientious employee (orself-employed individual) will be looking still.

QUALITIES of CREATIVITY

A subconscious evaluation of genetic merits and symmetry leads toorgasm.Orgasm leads to stronger em! otions and higher probability ofconception, which leads to a choice of mates. (Animal Behavior -Vol 50 Dec 95)

Male androgen-based features act like an ad for diseaseresistance to attract a female. Symmetry is important.

Female characteristics such as tiny jaw, breasts, lush lips actas advertisement for estrogen implying fertility and leading tochildren.

Playboy Centerfolds & Miss America from 1923-1990 had awaist:height ratio of .68-.72 . Twiggy was .73 . This isconsidered a fertility indicator. There is a 30% decrease infertility with each 10% rise in W:H ratio.

Voltaire married Mme Denis (his widowed niece), and became one ofhis age's love stories in France.

Charles Darwin married his first cousin Emma Wedgewood, and had a dozen children. Natural selection worked for him.
The article published in the Journal of Genetic Counseling and copied here from US News and World Report, 15 Apr. 2002. says :

Kissing cousins
Charles Darwin married his first cousin, but generally the practice hasn't been viewed as very good for the survival of the species. Most states have laws against first-cousin marriages, believing they lead ! to many more babies with birth defects such as mental retardation. Wrong, says a paper published in this month's Jo7arnal of Genetic Counseling. After reviewing studies stretching back to 1965, a task force concluded that the risk of having children with mental retardation or genetic disorders is only about 1.7 percent to 2.8 percent higher in first-cousin couples than in unrelated couples. The additional risk is so small, the group says, that before conceiving, first cousins need no more screening than a thorough medical history. Will the study remove the stigma attached to first cousin marriages? The authors say it should actually mean changes to the laws, since first cousins may now be able to claim genetic discrimination if states prevent them from tying the knot. -

Science News : A! pr 12, 2008 p. 232-233; Ewen Callaway. = . For some . . . . ide al mate is a . . . cousin . . [paraphrased] Outbreeding may result in the beneficial mutation not becoming reinforced enough to be expressed (genes express). Isolated populations frequently mutate at a rapid rate, and in some cases produce more offspring , leading to superior survival chances.
Three out of five marriages in one Pakistani survey dated 1997 were first cousins. A study in one city in south India had a 20% uncle and nieces and a 33% first cousins marriage result. A study of Icelandic third cousin marriages shows more offspring when compared to unrelated couples. There are plus and minus to both inbreeding and outbreeding. There are no absolutes in genetics.
