1981 Long version
by Robert Hedges ©

81/1/ = Clerk at the Kroger in Bardstown..."It's Louisville "...[Louisville what?]

81/1/23 = Judge Bond signed the Mental Inquest Warrant.

81/Jan/26 - The MIW was served after 72 hours, which indicates on the face of the record that the statute requirement of "clear and present danger" were not present at the time of the warrant was issued. An individual can do much damage in 72 hours, and for the warrant to apply, there must be a clear and present danger. Robert Hedges was arrested, transported and held on 26 Jan 1981, based on a Mental Inquest Warrant dated 23 Jan 1981, and was placed in jeopardy of 14 days of incarceration and Involuntary DRUGGING. Robert was jailed in the Spencer Co jail for 44 hours jailing, after refusing to admit himself to the VA Hospital. He was held without benefit of a hearing, an Attorney, witnesses, any defense, or any remedy of Law. He was then transported to the Louisville University Hospital on 28 Jan. l981 and there was lied to, maligned, and released. He then walked back to Spencer County.

The case filed in Spencer Circuit Court in reference to this event was dismissed with prejudice, and no redress has been accomplished by the Plaintiff yet. Hearsay is not admissible as evidence in the Court, but seems to be acceptable as evidence to issue these warrants.

81/2/2 = A mental health professional working at the UnivLou Hospital Louisville General, stated this in such a way that it had the sound of a statement of fact, or an insult, after Robert was taken there in handcuffs.. . ."you want a dick" . . . This is clearly a case of projection by a homosexual employee there. Any suit for such harassment would require instant witnesses. This adds insult to injury.

81/2/ = Nelson Co. Patrolman from Coxes Creek...." you can't stop them . . . they have photographs..."

81/2/ = The young woman clerk at Down's Market on separate occasions. . . "Toretti has been running you down for ages . . . " " we're going to blame Arletta for all of it . . . " "the big men don't like you, . . . we knocked you down to them . . . "

81/2/ = Robert stopped at Petie Day's house one day and Petie said "Judge Glasscock is out at the next election . . he couldn't even get rid of you..." . CL Glasscock was Sheriff, and later was elected the Fiscal Judge. His school teacher step-daughter married Eddie Dailey. Another step-daughter has been Commonwealth Attorney (1985-1989). She is Eddie Dailey's sister-in-law.

81/2/ = Mrs. Jarrett, clerk at Kroger in Fern Creek...."your not to have no money...." This is business interference by a passerby. Robert sought credit for his business.

81/2/ = Robert hired Don Nutt to send his D-7 to clear 5 acres on river.

81/2/ = Peoples Bank denied Robert credit. He needed real estate.

81/2/ = Wilson & Muir denied Robert credit. He needed more than sporadic income.

81/2/ = Citizens Fidelity denied Robert credit. He needed real estate.

81/2/ = Small Business Administration denied Robert credit.

81/2/ = B.A. Yungman was retained via the Louisville Bar Lawyer Referral office, advertising as a Patent Attorney.

81/2 / = Beth Gaba said..." it was us.."

81/ / = Catherine Hedges said, " you don't associate with the neighbor. "

81/ /= Catherine Hedges said, " you feel family members have wronged you. "

81/3/17- The PCA by letter demanding $39,935.42, due 1 April 1981, or foreclosure would begin.

81/3/ = A replacement PCA man said "it was us . . . us that never ran out of money . . . " The PCA had a new man close our short term credit, and threaten us with foreclosure. He can be identified by his stutter.

81/3/ = Bernard Cheek leases crop field, except 5 the acres on the river.

$18,000.

gross was lost crop income; interest of $9000. is the increase

for year. The farm

equipment was not used. The reorganization plan for a going

business was:

Bernard Cheek leased 81 ac @ $75. ac.
Allen Wells leased west ridge hay field for corn of 37 ac. @ $40. ac.
Ed Dailey had 20 ac. pasture @ $15. ac. plus mowing.
Leon Bentley had 10 ac. hay and 5 ac. tobacco.
Houston Hedges leased the major crop field of the farm in 1981. In the absence of Robert's competition for use of the land the high price was unilaterally reduced in subsequent years. This leasing effectively prevented Robert from continuation of what was becoming a profitable, low cost, grain operation, which Robert had to build from scratch. The farm was arranged as an old style dairy, and Robert and Houston had discussed and rejected the possibility of rejuvenating the dairy of 1972.

81/4/ = Catherine Hedges said, " some people never were meant to have any money . ." . This was during the farm business fight.

81/4/ = Catherine Hedges said, " you can't borrow no money no where . . . .This was during the farm business fight.

81/4/ = Catherine Hedges said, " you are never going to get a loan...you are never going to have a house." . . . This was during the farm business fight.

81/4/ = Catherine Hedges said, " You didn't spend $20,000. on machinery ".

81/ / = Catherine Hedges said, " we're gonna break you of wantin [or wanton]." This sounded irrational or counter-instinctual drive to me.

81/4/ = Catherine Hedges said, " you don't treat the rest of the members of the family like you used to. "

81/4/ = Ed Dailey said " We're not friends . . . . . . you are my enemy . . . ."

81/4/22 = BA Yungman sent a letter to D&E Grain on this date.

81/4/ = Don Nutt, the D-7 Dozer owner, who has cleared the 5 acres on the river wants to be paid, but the business in not in Robert's hands. Don said " we heard you suck dicks".

81/4/27 = Rose Levida Shipp, Attorney for D&E responds in a letter on this date.

81/4/ = Older woman clerk at CG&Y convenience store in Taylorsville = "your a gay young blade"...Is this intended as innocent humor or an intentional effort to insult?...]

81/4/ = Nelson County officer said . . . "you wrecked her schooling . . . and now you'll wreck her marriage also . . . " [who ? Leitchfield ? ]

81/5/ = Catherine Hedges said, "you need to see a Psychiatrist"

81/5/ = The woman clerk at Fox's Grocery, " We're helping Petie Day, It's us that no accounted you. We're trying to worth account you again . . . They're all Catholic in the Federal Building . . . " [ the clerk here looks like of the oldest Brooks sister, married to a Suburban Wrecker driver who was living in a small tenant house near Finchville ] . . . " We're going to make you fight for everything you already got . . . you'll ever want anything else . . . " .

81/ / = Catherine Hedges said, " we told everybody you weren't our son"

81/5/ = Robert drove to Morgantown , KY while driving his distinctive Corvette, to see a log house there. He stopped at the house next door to inquire from a stranger about the house. I. J. Flener, a woman living next to the log house in Butler Co on the Green River in Morgantown, claimed to have a minister son, said " you've been sucking dicks haven't you . . " Only an insane person would say this to a stranger, and Robert was a stranger. What could identify him to a stranger this far from home even if this ugly insult (inappropriate gender suggestion) were true.

81/5/ = unknown female voice on phone at farm ". . we wanted you, we didn't knock you, just all of them . . I'm Bett . . I'm betting on you . . "

81/6/ = While having a church social at the farm, and inviting Robert to leave, . . . Ed Harmon said . . " it was us that started it . . . we have to find someone to blame it on . . . we can always leave town . ." . Robert was forced to leave his home and waste gas driving around until the youth group left.

81/6/ = unknown female voice, [on phone] = "First we knocked you down to them . . . then we knocked them down . . . then you're supposed to be friends with us . . . now we can't do anything . . . " [ what type of girl tactic is this ?]

81/6/ = Tom Watson, local newsman with AP wire service "it was us all along . . . us married to State employees . . . "

81/6/ = Voice on phone at farm . . . "they lost when they poisoned you . . ."

81/6/ = Houston Hedges with John arrived at the farm and ran up to the new house and said " yeah . . . but LSD " to which Robert replied "yeah I smoked a pound of LSD " (with sarcasm). Robert was thinking about being poisoned at the moment. This is a facious statement, as responce to a statement made to him. This statement has been broadcasted by Loretta Harris during the evening news while she was at WHAS TV 11 before moving to Fox 41. Robert vaguely remembers that he may have mentioned Susan at this time. The conversation occurred outside the new house on the front steps.

81/6/ = Sheriff Grubs said " The Corp [of Engineers building the lake] moved in, I had five farms up here I ran . . . . we couldn't do anything about them . . . we sure do something about you . . . . "
Grubbs jr. = "you sure got a lot of fag friends..." Robert was exploring the lake area at the time, and got his truck stuck on condemned lake area land.

81/ / = Catherine Hedges said, " teach you a lesson you'll never forget"

81/ / = Catherine Hedges said, "You wrote a bad check. "

81/6/ = Catherine Hedges said, " your attorney isn't going to do a thing for you . . . . he'll just take your money . . . " . This was during the farm business fight.

81/8/ = Catherine Hedges said, " You need to see a psychiatrist at the VA hospital . . . . it all started in the Army . . " . .

81/8/ = B.A.Yungman, a hired Attorney "We use people like them, now we can use you" This was said while Robert was speaking on the phone to BA Yungman. Robert never trusted a lawyer again.

81/8/ = Mark Howard said .." it was us . . the doctor's kids . . . we tried to toady you out . . . we all work together . . . one of us wanted her . . . " Robert doesn't remember this at all.

81/9/ = Catherine Hedges said, " you are never going to build a house on this property ." . . . .This was during the farm business fight.

81/9/ = Small Business Administration denied Robert a small business loan. This was the second interview and application this year. Robert had to keep looking for a fiscal solution.

81/9/ = The clerk at Down's Market said ." it's Cootes "

81/9/ = IRS female personnel on 3rd floor of the Federal Building " if you say someone is trying to bankrupt you then they already have . . " This reasoning is faulty. Equally faulty logic is that of you say someone is trying to rob you, then they already have. On the other hand if you say someone is trying to take your peace of mind, it probably is already gone.

81/10/ = An ASCS Committeeman in the Spencer County ASCS office said.- "some old men don't want you to win that case . . . . . . . . . Ronnie Snyder got the [A.C] Potts Estate from Edgar Sullivan . . . . . " (Senator Gene Snyder's brother) 81/10/7 = Sat = Catherine Hedges said, " you are never going to own one square inch of this land."....This was during the farm business fight. . 81/10/10 = Bernard. Cheek= ..."you did it to the Mooneys . . . it was Frankie . . . "[Robert dated Francis Mooney briefly in 1970. She later moved from JTown, and married and was lived nearby in Fern Creek and gossiped with Mrs Miller at 6001 Bardstown Rd. Frankie Mooney had associated with Mildred Dailey's sister's daughter in JTown, as well as Robert Reed, a (habitual criminal/career) thief.

81/10/8 = John interfered in the business of Robert and the result was a 3rd Degree Assault charge. Robert Hedges suffered the damages from the arrest and jailing for 22 hour because of this confrontation. The Court failed to consider the cause.

81/10/ = Sheriff Larry Lawson said - "I'm one of the tenants, we're helping your brother . . . . " [during the arrest for assault ]

81/10/ = Soon after the altercation with John, Robert was at the Taylorsville Courthouse and Robert Cootes said . . . "we don't care what somebody does to you..". .

81/10/ = Judge Bond, from Lawrenceburg, as a Spencer District Court Judge. Robert phoned him about the assault charge and the reason behind it and results which needed to be corrected and he said " I will have to remove myself from this case" . . . . . "Cootes wanted to "persecute" you first" . . . John never was compelled to return Robert's property which he had taken and which caused this altercation.

81/11/ = Greg Abati said " we were doing it for Wetzelburger, it wa s all of Germantown . . . Robert Reed was one of us . . . you are one of us now . . . Abati was a JeffCommCollege Student from Jeffersontown, with a Jefferson County Police brother-in-law, visiting the farm to buy a Remington Logmaster chain saw.

81/11/23 = Robert sent a letter by to D&E on this date. This is a case which BA Yungman did not wish to handle. He claimed he was not a bill collector.

81/11/ = 81-CI-024 Counterclaim filed in Spencer Circuit, Hedges v Hedges, except the restraining order was issued much earlier. J.D.Dale had advised Houston Hedges to seek an injunction, (Dales favorite ploy, useless or not) and filed suit against Robert in Spencer Circuit Court. R.M. Cootes represented the PCA at the time, and JD Dale was Cootes partner. The PCA threatened, and a case is begun. The Saunder's Court denied Robert any opportunity to have a proceeding wherein the calling or cross-examination of witnesses would take place, except in reference to the Robert's right to take control of the property promised him for his work. The property promised was a deed for a third of the old family farm. Robert was the only experienced, qualified farmer family member.

Judge Saunders ruled that the jury said Robert did not have a contract. This is a vague ruling. The equipment list is clear however, and the case was an injunction case to prevent the moving or use of the equipment. The result was that Robert was not allowed to continue farming. His parents did retain the jointly-built home, the improvements Robert made upon the farm, the income resulting from all of Robert's labors and materials, skills and knowledge. Robert was no longer in control of his own business. The non-experienced parents were then allowed to auction the equipment and the truck which Robert had acquired, at a loss and to neglect the new grain storage facility until a forced sale occurred at another major loss. Robert was left with a half interest in the D-4 Cat Dozer since it was not included in the case.

81/11/ = Robert joined Mensa after discovering it in the Guinness Book of World Records, and attended his first meeting about this time. He had read all the books in the house, because he was stranded on the farm since, he had no money to go anywhere. He was unable to find employment.

81/11/ = Judge Harold Saunders said " I believe in infant baptism"- his statement from the bench in Circuit court, indicating the entry of religious non- relevant values in the legal system. After running for election as a Baptist (anti- infant baptism) proving some outside manipulation if a Judge must bring this topic up in Court .....irrelevant....bias...This topic comes originally from debate with Father Jack Morgan.

81/11/ = Judge Harold Saunders said "I run this court"! 1981 from the bench... [ the Law is based upon the Books and the Bench, and these are for the mere man in the robes to follow.] The King of the Court.

81/11/ = Judge Harold Saunders said "There is no legal aid in Spencer County."- same time and place as above (1981).[laughingly..... this was a "you can't do anything about this" statement. RH had been "left at the Alter in the Temple of Justice" by an Attorney who filed and docketed a countercase/defense to Plaintiff case, and RH had no knowledge or ready skills to argue his own case or funds to hire Council.

81/11/ = Judge Harold Saunders said "We had to switch things all around . . . " 1981/82, smilingly. [What things,.?. . . . .who is we ?,

81/11/ = Mr. Martin at Martins' Grocery, Waterford KY on hwy. 44, "you sure jive easy..."[ Robert had recently joined Mensa, and this exact phrase had been used by a similar-looking person 18 hours earlier in Louisville at a Mensa meeting . ItŐs meaning has never been divulged despite repeatedly questioning. ]

81/12/ = Judge Harold Saunders said "You don't call in the FBI, we do . . . .".

81/12/ = Rev. Sharp from DPBChurch said "you beat your brother black and blue" regarding the grain bin altercation. DoesnŐt anybody remember that taking property from another is theft. ?

81/12/ = Judge Harold Saunders said "I'm harney garney, you're Robert Reed, . . I queered you."- statement to Robert while his private secretary was present in the office in Shelbyville Courthouse. Robert inquired as to the (prohibitively high) cost of a Court transcript for appeal of the 1981 decision. - and told that he had to have $100. to Appeal, and $500. to get a copy of the transcript of the Trial. (RH was not told of KRS 453.190)

81/12/ = Spencer Circuit Clerk Phyllis Shafar said "We don't want you to own any land in Spencer County "

Houston was not knowledgeable in the business in progress at that time. RH could not litigate further without the ruin of the purpose of the work, which was the land. The goal of Houston Hedges in 1981 was to reduce debt, and the goal of Robert Hedges in 1981 was to increase production, which are both paths to success of a farm operation. The fight ended as no assets remained for Robert to fight with, except by putting the farm at risk, thereby destroying the purpose of all the work. Was the purpose of the interference to get Robert to destroy the Hedges Farm in 1981 ? Certain individuals would have possibly benefitted by the sale in that year. There was an emotional issue which influenced Judge Saunders ruling in 1981, that being an elderly pitiful sad couple unrealistically crying about keeping a roof over their heads. But the Family farm was safe, and leases would arrive yearly, and walnut trees would grow each year, and land clearing grub would rot and settle.
