The eugenics movement of the 1920s and 1930s led to 30 states when laws allowing forced neuterization by the 1940s.

This simple little ditty was written to describe Sean Penn and Madonna and their break-up. The "wag" who wrote his explanation said: " every relationship has to have some gardening, so healthy and positive growth can take place . . . Someone in a relationship has to be a gardener . . . .Sean and Madonna are both flowers, and neither of that pair wanted to be the gardener. Maybe beautiful women are really like flowers, and we men who wish to cherish them at close range should try to learn to be very good gardners and forget trying to be flowers ourselves.

There was a Horse Show at the Shelbyville Fairgrounds in 1992, and Barry Smith had set up a real estate tent. He hoped to interest some horsefolk in a farm or two in the bluegrass nearby.

Robert Hedges approached him and while laughing reminded Smith that he (Smith) had made $27,000. for one short Saturday afternoon on the Hedges Farm. Smith became hostile and threatening. However, Shelbyville is Smith's town, his business site, and all the near-by witnesses were his employees, so a smart person not wanting to be arrested would retreat from his belligerence.

The real problem is that the potential to find a serious buyer for a former horse farm (the Hedges Farm) was never explored, nor did an auction reach the actual market value which a serious horse farmer might pay when time to arrange financing is not an immediate pressure.

I wonder what customer's Smith has who rate a fair market price, if he is to earn a large commission.? Is he due such a large commission simply because he once passed a realty test? Doesn't such a large amount have to be earned by real work ? Recently the Spencer County Planning and Zoning Commn' had a unique opportunity to again apply the "Barry "I just drove by" Smith expert in indivisibility principle. The Foreman 700 acres is listed by Ben Green, and optioned for $50,000 per year over five years for full residential development. The price is $5500. per acre, which makes it a $3.850,000.00 project. So, Hedges acres are auctioned for as little as $200. per and now the Foremans want $5500.00 for those same or even lesser acres. Now read my web site carefully. The following is a story about Bill Gates ( Time Jan 13, 1997) but the article speaks volumes to many intelligent people, and seems appropriate for a Mensa site.

Every decision he makes is based on his knowledge of the merits. He doesn't rely on personal politics. It sets the tone for the business (of the two types of tech companies). Myhrvold on Bill Gates -

Kissing cousins Charles Darwin married his first cousin, but generally the practice hasn't been viewed as very good for the survival of the species. Most states have laws against first-cousin marriages, believing they lead to many more babies with birth defects such as mental retardation. Wrong, says a paper published in this month's Jo7arnal of Genetic Counseling. After reviewing studies stretching back to 1965, a task force concluded that the risk of having children with mental retardation or genetic disorders is only about 1.7 percent to 2.8 percent higher in first-cousin couples than in unrelated couples. The additional risk is so small, the group says, that before conceiving, first cousins need no more screening than a thorough medical history. Will the study remove the stigma attached to first cousin marriages? The authors say it should actually mean changes to the laws, since first cousins may now be able to claim genetic discrimination if states prevent them from tying the knot. -
