A conspiracy at the Census bureau - Robin
by Robert Hedges ©
On Sunday Oct. 28, 1990 at approximately 11:35 AM Sally Snyder
and I walked out on the dock between bldg 63-E and 64-E to eat
lunch. There was no one on the dock except Robert Hedges, who was
sitting at a table to the left of the dock as you walked out.
When we saw Robert we went to a table to the right and sat down
on the opposite side to him. We did not speak to Robert or
acknowledge him in any way. We had only been sitting there a
couple of minutes when Robert walked over, sat down on my side of
the table and made a comment to Sally about having his name on
the radio. At that time Sally stood up, picked up her lunch, and
told Robert that she had heard about him and his radio and didn't
want to hear anymore. As she started to move, Robert said "you
don't have to move, I will", and went back to his table. Sally
sat back down and at that time, Robert looked at her and said "
But fortunately it was somebody else's radio and not mine this
time".
After that nothing more was said.
Robin Gelbach 31/10/1990 for investigation
Sunday I presumed to sit at
the only occupied table in the dock area, as coworkers often do
on break, or at lunch.
I "exited right" as they had the table first, and reseated myself
in my usual chair and stated "it is not my radio, I do not
control it."
There has never been any threat: veiled, implied or expressed
between myself and any of these misguided deponents.
I feel very uncomfortable and intimidated due to this
conversation and the last comment he made sounded very threatening towards
Sally.
Robert Hedges responds:
Robin and Sally were seated, and Sally was angry. I did not
mention any radio at the time, but Sally led off with a salvo of
"I'm sick of hearing about your radio".
