Robert awoke from a seemingly sound sleep one night in 1981, when a tiny blue twinkle flitted and zipped around the upstairs north bedroom in the Hedges Farm house. He screamed in alarm, which is a rare event because he does not have nightmares (only erotic dreams including attractive female acquaintances who have stirred his PEA hormone). He then went to the window to look for someone with a flashlight tipped in blue. The Jefferson County Police Detectives on horseback could have been outside trying to get his attention. He then walked around outside the house to find the 'pranksters' but he located no one outside. He had no television or radio, and was not aware of any further type of hallucination. He later read that a blue tinkerbell is a clinical symptom of LSD poisoning. He lived alone in the unfinished house at the time. Someone must had gotten a dose of clinical LSD and dosed him.
Robert had stood against the teaching of Baba Ram Das, who was Professor Timothy Leary's protege. His book, _Be Here Now_ was suggested in Philosophy class in 1976. This _piece of nonsense book_ was available from the local hippie stuff shop.(head shop) It described Baba Ram Das' transformation from Harvard educator to homosexual hippie freak based on LSD use. One of the DPBChurch youth had a brother in this Philosophy class.
Robert believed that the drugging and related unexplained events of 1978 and this event are related. No paid investigator ever solved or suggested a solution for this event. Females have their egg supply when born, and any chemicals which they are exposed to may effect their offspring, if the chemical is known to alter genes. Males manufacture a completely new sperm supply on an eleven day cycle. Males would not have shattered genes in their sperm after a proper time interval.
This event led to a FACETIOUS (inappropriate jest) statement by Robert when he said " smoked a pound of LSD " which was repeated and broadcasted on a local news telecast by Co-anchor Loretta Harris (while on WAVETV3) with no additional specific context.
There are psychics who describe spirits as tinkerbell-like energy sources, though. . . ?
LSD (synthetic) and other psychoactive chemicals
(organic) of similar
makeup imitate chemicals which the body makes and uses.
This substance is instrumental in making neurological synapses.
The result of bombarding your brain with extra "stuff" is that
you create many new synapses between many neurons which would not
be linked. This results in a feeling of euphoria, based on the
happiness we get from new crisp synapses, and often there is a
feeling of "expanding the mind", because the brain literally has
many new
links which imitate discoveries and knowledge. The user begins to
explore these randomly created synapses, which may or may not be
useful; but be warned, some brains are marginally chemically
stable, or are unstable, and these may experience the linking of
dark neurons which are barely controlled or were blocked from the
conscious before.
That would be a bad trip. Recurring feelings of euphoria are
usually not identifiable, but feelings of terror or lapses of
reality are noticed. You must rely upon your brain chemicals
because everything the mind experiences is chemical.
There were many 2000 scientific articles and studies published
on LSD between 1938 and 1963. Scientists were intrigued with the
possibility of dendritic growth stimulation.
"Dr Drew" Pinski of Loveline fame says that all hallucigens cause brain damage. Permanent changes in the brain are called organic brain damage. That may be a correct theory- and also may be the dendritic growth years after the natural pruning process of subteens has created efficiency - thus inefficiency is returned. Could brain inefficiency result in depression, or symtomology of acute organic brain damage ????
While we are on the topic of chemicals, I should add that I
experienced the symptoms of oregano-phosphate poisoning also, on
at an earlier time. The deadly poison serin is an oregano-phosphate.
